Corman Construction joint ventures with Kiewit Corporation as CK Constructors to build the final component of the overall $2.52 billion Woodrow Wilson Bridge Project. The $236 million contract to rebuild the I-95 interchange at Telegraph Road in Northern VA will begin in the spring of 2008 and will take 5 years to complete. The contract includes 11 ramps and bridges, 5 box culvert extensions, drainage improvements, retaining walls, noise walls, pedestrian paths, landscaping, and environmental mitigation.more news |

Frederick Douglass Bridge Opens Early Washington, DC
Corman reopened Frederick Douglass at 2:00 am on August 23rd, well ahead of rush hour and the scheduled September 7th completion date. Streetscape improvements continue along South Capitol Street, and are scheduled for completion by April, 2008, in time for the opening of the Washington Nationals' new baseball stadium.more news |

Frederick Douglass Bridge, crossing the Anacostia River, will be rehabilitated in time for opening season of the Washington Nationals in their new baseball stadium. THE BRIDGE IS NOW CLOSED FOR THE MONTHS OF JULY AND AUGUST, 2007. Crews are working work around the clock to remove roadway and lower bridge spans to create a new intersection and entrance to the stadium.more news |
